About Rotary
A Rotary club is a nonprofit international organization that is part of Rotary International.
These clubs bring together professionals and community leaders who share a commitment to humanitarian service, promoting peace, and improving their local and global communities.
Rotary clubs engage in service activities and projects in areas such as ecology, education, healthcare, community development, and disease eradication. In addition, Rotary clubs foster friendship and cultural exchange among their members and collaborate with other Rotary clubs around the world to carry out larger-scale and impactful projects.
Rotary is an international organization dedicated to promoting peace, friendship, and community service through various areas of interest. These include fighting diseases, clean water and sanitation, maternal and child health, education and literacy, and economic and community development.
Additionally, Rotary is committed to humanitarian and sustainable development projects to improve the quality of life in diverse communities around the world. The Rotary Foundation supports and funds these initiatives, providing scholarships, grants, and support to carry out service projects locally and internationally, making a positive impact on society.
Rotary has led a global fight against polio for decades.
As part of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Rotary has worked alongside health organizations, governments, and communities to vaccinate children and protect them from this paralyzing disease.
Thanks to these efforts, the number of polio cases in the world has been significantly reduced. Rotary remains committed to its mission of completely eradicating polio, and through resource mobilization and volunteers, it strives towards a polio-free future.
