At the Rotary Club Puerto Vallarta Sur, we have been working diligently on the wheelchair program, collaborating with organizations such as DIVAC and other Rotary clubs. Here are some details about the deliveries carried out during the 2023-2024 period:
On March 15, 2024, 37 wheelchairs were delivered in San José del Valle, Bahía de Banderas, Nay.
March 16, 2024, was a very active day with two significant deliveries. First, in Puerto Vallarta, Jal. (UNIRSE), 47 wheelchairs were distributed: 9 of 16", 32 of 18", 5 of 20", and 1 special 18". Later, in the Volcanes neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta, 4 wheelchairs were delivered.
On April 29, 2024, another delivery took place at the San José Parish in the CTM neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta, Jal., where 10 wheelchairs were distributed.
It is worth highlighting that we have delivered a total of 234 wheelchairs to various communities during this period, thereby improving the mobility and quality of life for many individuals. This work reflects our commitment to the community and the importance of collaboration and mutual support. The data shows that we have managed to distribute the wheelchairs effectively, tailoring to the needs of each recipient to ensure every delivery contributes to greater inclusion and participation in the community.
